This research cluster presents many of the references that have informed Silvia Zayas’ ruido ê (the film); from academic studies on elasmobranchs and on the effects of underwater anthropogenic noise, to the various theoreticians whose work has shaped the thinking of the project, to a series of musical and filmic influences that have been with the artist throughout.
