In this conversation, artist Tuan Andrew Nguyen and TBA21’s founder and chairwoman Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza discuss the work that led to the film made by Nguyen for st_age. Together they cover his community-based research and the archival investigations that resulted in the use of original American Navy footage in the film.
