GaiaGuardianxs (2020) is an interactive publication that emerges from three years of research—a personal journey through conflicts connected to the issue of water in Latin America. It examines the complex flows of water in terms of the possibilities for crying, the environmental crisis, and spirituality in the digital era.

“The Tree of the Hanging Testicles,” the fourth chapter of this publication, introduces the figure of Rodrigo Mundaca, spokesman of MODATIMA the Movement for the Defence of Access to Water, Land and the Protection of the Environment, and speaks about the cost of the humanitarian crisis caused by the privatization of water in Chile.
