Zuleikha Chaudhari is a theater director and lighting designer based in Delhi. Since 2015 she has been exploring the framework of law as performance, the role of performance in law and the performativity of legal truth-production. She has participated in residency programs such as DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program-Berliner Künstlerprogramm (2019) and School of Law, Birkbeck, University of London (2017). She is presently a Distinguished Scholar with the Initiative on Political Conflict, Gender and People’s Rights at the Center for Race and Gender at the University of California, Berkeley. She is Director of the Alkazi Theatre Archives at The Alkazi Foundation for the Arts, New Delhi.
