Nikita Tananaev is a Director at the Climate and Northern Regions Ecosystems Research Laboratory, North-Eastern Federal University. He is also a Leading Research Scientist at the Laboratory of Permafrost Groundwater and Geochemistry at the Melnikov Permafrost Institute. His research is focused on permafrost hydrology, geomorphology and regional climate.
