Marta Arrizabalaga Martín Artist
Marta Arrizabalaga studied architecture, exploring its margins and what overflows from traditional practice. Educated at ETSAM – Polytechnic University of Madrid, as well as in São Paulo, Chicago, and Alicante, she engages in transdisciplinary collaborations that delve into creative research and cultural mediation, focusing on their potential to open cracks in the current paradigm and foster cooperative coexistence. Amidst the fragility of our ecosocial context, she is interested in the imperative of degrowth, investigating themes that disrupt some of the balances sustaining Western life, such as species cooperation and coexistence, bodily potentials, hybrid aesthetics, and the non-patriarchal role of technologies.
