Marina Avia Estrada is assistant curator at TBA21. She has previously worked at various institutions such as International Print Center New York, Wallach Art Gallery, Tabacalera Promoción del Arte, and AECID. Her research focuses on the study of feminist artistic and activist practices from the 1970s onward, mainly related to performance and the public space in Latin America. She is a regular contributor to the Spanish art magazine Exit Express.
