Igor Ramírez García-Peralta Editor
Igor Ramírez García-Peralta is a writer, journalist, and editorial consultant. In 2015 he founded Solar, the first independent lifestyle magazine in Spanish with worldwide distribution. He served as its Editor-in-Chief until 2019. He was Editorial Director of Harper’s Bazaar ART en Español and Art Editor-at-Large for NOWNESS, for which he created the series Collectors, featuring some of the most prominent art patrons in the world. Ramírez collaborates with brands such as Bulgari and Pomellato as creative director for digital and video content and has contributed to print titles both in Europe and the Americas, including Icon El País, Harper’s Bazaar España, Artribune, and Parterre de Rois. He directed the cultural program of the Faena District in Miami from 2016 to 2017. Ramírez served as Personal Assistant to Mexico’s Foreign Minister, Patricia Espinosa Cantellano for five years and collaborated closely with the Legal Adviser of the Ministry and with the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) on cases related to illicit trade, restitution, and exchange of cultural property. He has collaborated with TBA21 in various capacities since 2011. Ramírez trained as an actor at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York; he has a Masters in Law in Intellectual Property Law by King’s College London and a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Law by the National Autonomous University of Mexico; he is fully trilingual in Spanish, English, and German, and also speaks Italian and French fluently. He lives on a farm in Ibiza with his animals.
